Let’s have a shell filled with coconut milk for breakfast, a shabby tent as a shelter, and a never-ending enthusiasm as a remedy for all evil.

We never assumed we would not have enough money to start this journey. The paradox is we don’t really need a lot of money. If we have run out of cash on the way we are going to earn some. The most important thing is that we do not want to be in a rush but be able to feel the spirit of places we are in.

We have two main rules we want to follow during our journey.

The first one: we are going to travel cheap. We want to travel by hitch-hiking, by boat, by bike, on foot or even by riding a donkey ;-) In places where we need to become humble we will jump on a bus or train. We have a lot of time. We want to wake up somewhere in the world and realize that our biggest problem is to answer the following question: should we stay here longer or set out on a journey again?

The second one: we want to be open to people who will appear on our way. We really hope they can help our dreams come true.  Instead of big cities we are going to focus on villages, small towns, and countryside where we can see the world through the eyes of native people. We are not afraid of sleeping in a tent, on a beach, in a field or someone’s garden. Maybe the locals will not be so scared by strange foreigners who have come to them and will offer a shelter to us.
